The Directorate General for Enterprises (DGE) and the Directorate General for Health (DGS) have launched a public consultation on the medical device sector, which will run from December 6, 2024, to February 21, 2025.
Purpose of the consultation: This initiative aims to gather information from economic operators in the medical device sector (non-affected DMDIVs) (authorized manufacturers and distributors) regarding industry-related issues. The goal is to adapt public policies to strengthen the medical device supply chain in France, in the interest of patients.
